With the official signing yesterday of an agreement to establish an international prosecution center, Ukraine has taken what her prosecutor's office calls a significant step in the pursuit of justice for victims of Russia’s war crimes. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of working with “the Parliament, other stakeholders, and heads of anti-corruption agencies” to keep the document “alive, open to suggestions and additions.” The program is designed to help prevent corruption in all spheres of public life, decrease public tolerance for corruption and ensure legal action against perpetrators of corrupt acts. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal yesterday announced approval of the National Anti Corruption Program, hailing it as a pillar of the country’s anti-corruption strategy through 2025. ![]()
